The Ethel Walker School for Young Women, based in Connecticut, was producing a 50 Years of Black Graduates project for a Reunion event. They had a local videographer in the Northeast producing the majority of the video, but one of the alumna interview subjects was located in Louisville, KY. I was hired to record this portion of the project.
I discussed the technical and aesthetic requirements of the video with the other videographer. The alumna wanted her church to be the location, and it was quite photogenic. I recorded the segment with two cameras and a shotgun microphone, as specified. The interview was conducted by a representative of the school over Zoom, and I delivered the footage to the other videographer via Google Drive for editing.
